Privacy policy

This website is run by Health Promotion, Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora. 

We only collect your personal information if you fill out the form to request a Quit Coach, which is optional. This form asks for your first and last names, phone number, and email address. 

Once you complete the form, your information will be emailed directly to a stop smoking service in your chosen region. You must give consent before your information is sent. 

We do not store or access your personal information; we simply deliver the message.

After the stop smoking service gets your information, they will contact you to discuss your request for a Quit Coach. The stop smoking service will handle your personal information according to their own privacy policy. If you want to read their privacy policy, you will need to ask them for it. If you want to access or change your personal information, you will need to contact the stop smoking service directly.

If you click on a link on this website to register for Quitline, you will be taken to the Quitline website. Please note that the Quitline website is separate from Smokefree and is not run by Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora. Quitline has its own privacy policy, which explains how they handle personal information, including when someone registers for Quitline.
